A chapter is not a strict camp programme. It is a shared stay of one or two weeks where several families arrive together. Some chapters are relaxed holidays. Others include workation rhythm, language camps, hikes, children's activities, or themed evenings. You can join the community moments and still keep private time with your own family.

What is a Family Hostel?
A Family Hostel is a family-friendly accommodation combining community, plenty of playmates for the kids and affordable stays in the Swiss Alps.
Who is the Family Hostel for?
For all families! Couples, single parents, remote workers with kids or grandparents with grandchildren.
Where are the Family Hostels?
We have two locations in the Swiss Alps: Great St. Bernard region (Valais) and Braunwald (Glarus).
How much does a stay cost?
Stays start from CHF 50 per night depending on room type and season.
Is there childcare?
No, parents look after their own kids – who quickly find playmates among the other families. During certain chapters, kids from 6 can join the optional friLingue Daycamp (half or full day, bookable separately).
Can I work remotely?
